RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
Collected a few more parts from my trip to Edmonton last weekend, a couple of spare rearveiw mirrors (want to make a pair of smooth mirrors with puddle lights, possible side cameras?) some proper sound detonating material from a 2005 Town Car to install behind the rear seat and package shelf as the 2010 has tissue paper there, worthless in my opinion.

Finally found a factory interior mirror from a 2008 F150 with the reverse mirror monitor, creating a jumper harness to avoid cutting any factory wires and have a camera on order for installation. Not sure if the factory compass can utilize the module in the mirror or if I have to leave the factory installed module behind the mirror?

Oh, and installed Sylvania ZEVO's in the tail lights, love how they take the lights from a washed out orangy-red to a deep ruby red color.

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
I had ordered a set of horns for my car when I had been having problems, I thought it was the horns so I got them since they weren't expensive.
Since it was the relay each time the horns sat in the garage, until yesterday.
I put them in front of the radiator(stock horns are on the sides) and now have plenty of noise when I hit the horn button.

Just put this in, compass worked off the car when tested but may need a different temp sensor since this one says it's icy.[Image: d3a2ad1fb61252cf94f1aa320532c226.jpg]

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
I hooked up power to the mirror and the compass lights up, the auto-dim works. I have to drive in a circle to calibrate the compass...but it appears accurate now.

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
Got my vehicle emissions notice (due by December). So I said why not today I had time. I've driven to Detroit and back and to and from work for 3weeks logging over a 1,000 miles since the last time I had loaded a tune into the ecu and the O2 monitors and cat monitors still haven't set

After a bit of rain and being coated in about 14 pounds of pollen, the P71 got a bath today. Tongue

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
Drove for the first time with the new mirror, I was going toward a local park about 2 miles away that has nice large parking lots for me to drive in circles.
The mirror had "CAL" next to the direction so I figured it was waiting for me to drive in the circle, I set my region and it changed to not say "CAL" anymore and it is right on as far as direction, so I guess it's set.

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
I hooked up the correct temp sensor for my mirror, so I now have a temp reading in the mirror.
I also changed the lights in the footwells, now much brighter.

RE: What did you do to your Panther lately?
Had the complete front end suspension rebuilt on the 2010, time for the alignment. I found a set of monroe severe duty quick struts, so we'll see how they do. Right now the front is sitting up, so hopefully she settles down.
