Tongue Stupid intake question?
Will an all aluminum intake from a 1994 lincoln towncar fit a 1999, or 2002 crown vic? the 1999 has head similar to the 1994, but the 2002 has "performance improved intake ports in the heads. If it were able to fit i do know the gooseneck set up for the air induction is different but it could be worth the engineering if it fits and works...
ya i'm full of some wacko ideas sorry in advance lolz! ....( i have a beuatiful one in my shed even have the injectors rails and sensors, it was my backup for my 94 that i traded for my 99
Kenny 491304- 1999 crown vic (back burner project) with 260,100 miles planning on it to be my drive to work/beater/race car mode/parts kick around car, Also have a nice 2002 crown vic 182,000 miles with 200 lb weight delete, & love it!

RE: Stupid intake question?
The heads are the same(NPI) 1991-2000 in the panther, so an intake should swap.

Now that would be rather cool. I may just do this on my 1999 with 260,000 miles. Its a back burner priject car, that i pretty much dont owe a thing to so it will be fun to mess around with it. It gets all hand me down parts and junk that still works ha ha. Thankyou!

I agree, but, the whole plastic intake part would be what id be trying to get away from, ya i should just accept it lolz too bad i cant just buy the blue intake corner coolant gaskets, I know the intake one will be fine. less than a yr old. then theres the headache of getting the egr tube to fit, probably not worth it lolz, maybe i will make a table out of that old intake.... it sure is pretty.

RE: Stupid intake question?
The intake will physically fit but a lot of things will be in the wrong location. It's not a direct bolt on
