Stick Vic
Vin reminded me that I never posted anything here about the latest acquisition, and asked me to share this. Smile

Someone on CVN was selling this a month and a half ago, and it was too interesting to not at least take a look at. So, short story shorter, I made two trips to Columbus, and came home with a 5-speed swapped Vic.

It's a 2007 Westerville (OH) cruiser and has the scuffs to prove it. It is equipped with...
-TR3650
-10.5" clutch
-Pier's pedals
-Modular Head Shop stage 2 cams
-Kook's LT headers
-Flowmaster mufflers
-X-pipe
-underdrive pullies

I introduced it to the Marauder...

And the Marquis...

I've done quite a bit already (replaced bulbs, wheel bearing, brakes, output shaft seal, interior/exterior clean/wax, uhhh probably some more but I'm drawing a blank). The big issue is that the transmission needs to be looked at and probably rebuilt as I'm getting some noise from the input shaft area. I'm still driving it around, but I can't beat on it as much as I'd like.

This car was purchased for way cheaper than it could have been built, even with the noisy transmission and the unfinished interior. All in all, it's very solid, and rowing your own is a blast.

RE: Stick Vic
I like it!
A lot of money in that car, the trans swap being most of it.
How does it sound with the cams and headers? people must make a second take at a light when they hear it... gotta be fun to drive.

RE: Stick Vic
It's definitely loud at full tilt, a little lopey at idle with a nice throatiness that only comes with headers. Had some kid in a WRX eyeballing the car at a light, then eyeballing the taillights when it turned green. Big Grin
