Questions: getting the rear door handle to work
When I took the rear door panels off my 2008 Interceptor to hook the linkage up thought the parts would be there just disconnected. I was wrong. Does any one have a schematic or a brake down of how it goes together or the parts I need to make it work? I mostly want to know what I am missing.

RE: Questions: getting the rear door handle to work
Have you taken a look in the trunk? I know that Ford used to put the hardware that is left out of the doors in the trunk, of course it could have disappeared in the years of service, but that is where it started. All deleted parts were included with the car as far as I have seen, but I know they didn't always stay with the car.
I found the front door trim for my '05(was ordered with the delete) in the trunk under the carpet right against the front wall(just behind the fuel tank).

I dug around a bit. I found a wrench I lost some time back. But I did not pull the carpet out completely. I will do that before I begin my search.

Mine were in the place tom had just mentioned taped together. Still haven't put them in yet. I found them when i pulled the carpet out to clean the trunk up. Also I've seen many at junk yards still in the trunks.

I wish I could get the trunks open in the salvage yards I go to. Most of them are closed.

I had no luck. I guess I am going to be digging around a salvage yard.

on my 2010 P7B, they were in the trunk under the carpet, took me a couple of hours to put them in. expect some cuts and bruising. there are a few youtube videos that can walk you through doing this.

I wish I had a set under the carpet. Does anyone have a photograph of what the look like? Just in case I fine a set out of a car somewhere.
