Maintenance Recommendations
Guys and Gals,

I am at 120K with my CVPI and its about time to change out some wear and tear items. I am the third owner of the vehicle and it is in good shape but I am very meticulous when it comes to maintenance and care for my vehicles.

I am looking for any maintenance and wear and tear items I should be replacing soon or around this mileage so I do not run into trouble, such as Serpentine Belts, All fluids, Spark Plugs, Brake Pads and Rotors. ALSO I really would appreciate any brand recommendations and Input or at least what to spend my money on.

RE: Maintenance Recommendations
Check the upper and lower control arm bushings. Sway bar endlinks and swaybar bushings. Rear control arm bushings also should be checked

RE: Maintenance Recommendations
I'll have to do that. The suspension feels a little soft and may need to get new bushings to make it ride like new. What kind of bushings have you used as a replacement?

Moog makes good bushings and suspension components, and they're priced right.

RE: Maintenance Recommendations
Change the trans fluid and filter. Fuel filter, flush the coolant. Oil and filter. I flushed my brake fluid, made a huge difference with the brake pedal.

I've seen several posts about owners having issues with ball joints.

Do you want to replace the whole control arms assembly or just the joints?

Awesome,

Will probably be my next project on the car. The suspension is not too bad but can definitely feel much better. I want her to ride like she did off of the dealer lot.

Yeah I definitely plan on replacing on fluids very soon. I just got the transmission fluid and filter changed up. When I bought the car the A/C had no freeon. Got her running nice and cold now.
