Welcome, while yes this a panther platform. I don't think a picture of a cat qualifies.

If I might ask how those Michelin A/S tire faired ,are they newer ,used or shot. The reason I ask is I'm looking for tires by this winter and have thought about a cooper Touring tire I have them on my 98 lumina and I love them in mild winters but not so much for heavier snow /ice and of course they handle rain and dry great as well . I here Goodyear has gone to pot from my tire guy so I was kinda interested in different opinions. I hope to run a set of aggressive snow tires in the winter if money allows. I just need to go when I need to go.

They are the best tires I've ever owned. I haven't had the opportunity to test them in the snow or ice yet, but they are very quiet, wear evenly, handle great in both dry and wet conditions, and have slightly improved my gas mileage.

Granted, I've only had them for 6 months and put 4,000 miles on them, but so far so good. Before I got them in September, I used to have Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip snow tires, and they were absolute garbage. They were very loud, the tread wore unevenly, and only lasted 24,000 miles before going bald. They really live up to their name because that's how short they're good for - one year.

RE: Grand Marquis
thanks bud ,I generally buy tires for the worst conditions I will be driving in ! and I like to get different opinions . I really like the Goodyear Triple Tred ,but to keep them on two different cars it cost me 11 tires because they LOVE rerod ,screws, nails .ect .I pluged two of them to get home but I aint driving on them ! So the search goes on . By the way I've got 40,000 on the coopers and they are about 1/2 way now on tred . And that's leaving two ft black marks coming out of a red light while in Rome doing as the Romans do. Lumina baby , LOL Thanks again for the reply .
