RE: CV HPP
I love it. Green, thin white walls and a P71 grill. Im not usually for mods, but you cant say this is a mod. Its easy bolt on stuff that makes it stand out in a nice way.

RE: CV HPP
Thanks everyone for the kind words! When I purchased it, it had the thin white walls with only about 5K miles on the tires. Some of my friends were giving me flak about the "Geezer" look and said I should flip them in. I kind of like them out because they are not outrageous and do give it a nice look IMHO. I thought the honeycomb grille would look good with the green paint, but I figured if I didn't like it, it could be easily changed back.

It looks like you have the keypad--was that an option? I don't think the base cars had it.

RE: CV HPP
Apparently that was one of the items included with the HPP Package in 2000.

RE: CV HPP
I had a 1999 completely base model with the just the HPP package added ( had to factory order it) and it didn't have the keyless entry, but that could very well have become standard by 2000.

RE: CV HPP
I don't have the original window sticker and I am not able to reproduce it from any of the internet sites (probably because too old). I went on to Ford ETIS and got a printout and it does list the keypad, but everything seems to be related to the HPP package (upsized rear stabilizer bar, dual exhaust, 3.55, air suspension, wheels, etc, so I am guessing it came with the package for that year. The very last item on the ETIS report lists "Base". Another strange thing is that the 2000 had anti-lock brakes as standard, but my 2001 lists them as an option on the window sticker.
Here is another picture a friend of mine took last year at the Carlisle Ford Nationals after a brief rain shower in the morning. I didn't bother wiping the car off since I wasn't there trying to win anything.
