Battery light on
My wife texted me this afternoon and said the battery light just came on in our 03 CVPI. I am going to check the cables for looseness and corrosion, but if that isn't the problem, what else could it be? I will post what I find out after doing the cables.
Thanks everyone

RE: Battery light on
I was just reading in my Haynes manual could be an alternator issue. However, the light went out and hasn't come back on. Go figure.

RE: Battery light on
Unfortunately or fortunately, the light may come on when it starts having problems before it craps out completely.
Did you find anything when checking the wiring?

RE: Battery light on
Try running it with lights and radio going, see if the batt light comes back on. BlackVic is correct that if the alternator is going but not toast, it will toss the light on. It's doing it because it isn't fully charging the system.
