86 Coupe is up for sale
1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Coupe $2,300
The car has low mileage under 69k. In 1986 there were only around 6,550 coupes produced. I picked her up in February 2017 to hopefully bring back to her former glory but I've lost interest. Other than a bad brake line and AC not charged, she runs and drives great. New fuel pump, front brake lines, calipers and brakes. Tires, battery, belts, fuel filter, front sway bar end links, plugs/wires/cap/rotor. Needs paint on hood, roof, trunk. Landau roof vinyl is all beat up. No rot through on this car... clean undercarriage, floors and trunk. Before the brake line incident I took this car back and forth to work on several occasions, a 72 mile drive round trip with no issues. Runs and drives great. 30 year old car of driver quality so don't expect a trailer queen...still needs some work.

So it wasn't the brake line. It was coming out of the brake pressure warning light switch on top of the brake proportioning valve. Brake system was flushed... fresh fluid and now no leaks and the brakes operate normally. Talk about weird.
The cars been driven around 100 miles without issue so we're good to go.

I got a few bites on her, some ridiculous ones I have to say. I've got $2,500 in the car and mainly because I'm not a mechanic and my expertise is very limited. I'm at a loss asking $2,300 but I'm not stupid... even that's too high for this car being it needs the top half painted and the landau is shot. I'm open to reasonable offers though. It's got a low clock, runs great, very little surface rust underneath... well you guys know the story. Panthers are an acquired taste lol
