General FAQ
Q: What is the difference between the 2003 300A & 300B Marauder?
A:
The 300A were the Job #1 (May 2002) 2003 Mercury Marauders, came in only one color which was black. 300A's did not have traction control, they did have a full size alloy spare (Unpolished), auto fuel filler door release, in-clock digital clock, pockets in front seats, automatic park brake release(when shifted from park), tinted windshield, underhood lamp, 4R70W transmission, single knock sensor. Options available were a trunk keeper/organizer, rear deck lid spoiler & remote trunk mounted 6 disk cd changer.

The 300B was the 2003 mid-year revision of the Mercury Marauder, it was available in Black, Silver Birch & Dark Blue Pearl, they lacked some of the features that the 300A did have. They were fitted with traction control, heated front seats, a manual fuel filler door, mini "donut" spare, top portion of windshield had dot matrix "grid", no pockets in front seats, clock was displayed in radio & no underhood lamp. Options available for the 300B and following 2004 model year Marauders were, trunk organizer/keeper, sunroof, rear deck lid spoiler & power sliding sunroof.

It has been noted that there are 2003 Mercury Maruaders that have features from both 300A & 300B.

The 2004 model year Mercury Marauders were designated 300A, they were available in Black, Silver Birch and Dark Toreador Red (Dark Blue Pearl was dropped). Was equipped with the 4R75E transmission, Dual knock sensors & aluminum valve covers
Q: Were there any Recalls or Technical Service Bulletins?
